Jaytle and the team receive a request from LisBarrier Inc., maker of a trendy new cosmetic, to conduct a kaigyo extermination operation. The operation goes off as planned, but Jaytle is later summoned by no less than LisBarrier CEO Lisetta Eltista, who confides that there's a possibility that their VP is involved with an organization that controls the kaigyo.

Now tasked with a secret investigation into the VP's activities, Jaytle and the others put on their best and attend a swanky industry awards ceremony, when who should appear but a mysterious yet strangely familiar figure….
