Orders & Shipping

Orders are shipped out in batches, approximately 1 to 2 times a month. This means that the amount of time it takes for orders to be fulfilled is dependent on when the next shipment date will occur. These shipment days will be communicated via the Store Updates section of the store, as well as on our social media.

All items in an order must be in-stock for an order to be shipped out. Please be mindful of this when making orders that contain both in-stock items and pre-orders. If an order is placed after a shipment date has passed, it will be shipped out on the next shipment date, as long as all items in the order are in-stock.

Regarding order cancellations, orders can be cancelled if it is done within reasonable time-frame of the order date, and no part of the order has been fulfilled. Refunds will be subjected to a 15% restocking fee to cover any transaction fees and associated order costs. Once items have shipped, we do not accept modifications, cancellations, or refunds to orders. Manga Mavericks Books is not responsible for any lost or damaged items, once they have been provided to the shipping carrier for delivery.

Products are shipped via USPS and DHL depending on location, and books can be shipped worldwide, unless there are specific regional restrictions on a title or the desired shipment address is outside of USPS and DHL's coverage area. 

US domestic shipments will be delivered via USPS Media Mail, while international shipments can be delivered via USPS First Class Package International and DHL Express Worldwide.

For international orders, your country may apply customs duties or import taxes on the order. It is the customer's responsibility to pay these fees, and Manga Mavericks Books is not responsible for their amount.

Can you license [insert manga here]?

Please submit license suggestions to our Contact Form. Given that we are a small publisher, we cannot guarantee that a license can be acquired.

Are your manga stocked in any bookstores?

Currently, our print titles are only available online via our store, but we are actively seeking out bookstores and comic shops to carry our titles. Interested retailers can contact us via our Contact Form (under "Business Inquiries") or email us at contact@mangamavericks.com

What is the relationship between Manga Mavericks Books and Red String?

Manga Mavericks Books and Red String are separate entities that have formed a strategic partnership. Red String supports the localization of Manga Mavericks Books titles, while Manga Mavericks supports the US domestic marketing and distribution of Red String titles. The manga titles labeled under each company are the respective licenses of those entities.
