The Pipe Machine, Volumes 1-2
Story & Art: Takuji Umihara
Saburo is a normal kid—or at least he tries to be, but the bizarre finds its way to him with alarming precision. First, a weirdo with a samurai haircut clad in just undies is hanging around his town, then his father builds an honest-to-god time machine that looks like a giant metal smoking pipe. A quick test of the pipe time machine flings the poor boy into the outer realms of space where robots, space captains and a girl who looks very similar to a friend at home await him. Keep all limbs in the pipe and prepare for a funny, fast-paced, and very bizarre adventure in the Pipe Machine!
The series is currently 6 volumes in Japan, and was first released in 1991!

Vegetable Sandwich, Volume 1
Story & Art: Banjo Saitou
High school student Tsukushi has got the look of a thug, but he has one pressing issue: he’s a weakling through and through.
Sure, he has the earnestness to learn, but that can only take a person so far. Warabi, on the other hand, is a crazy strong elementary school student but doesn’t have anyone she considers a friend. A chance encounter with a lion escaping from a zoo brings the two together, where they realize that despite their myriad of differences, they have plenty in common too. If anyone can be a student in the pursuit of strength, can anyone also be a teacher?
With art inspired by 80's shonen manga, this is a vegetable you’ll not only want to enjoy first but all the way till the last bite!
